Season's Greetings

Hello Everyone
I've been crazy busy and on top of it all, I forgot to post this cute card.

Speaking of forgetting - Don't forget, challenge  #353 is going on right now over at Crafty Creations Challenges.
The theme - Anything Goes
Sponsor - Bugaboo
Prize - 4 images of your choice
Challenge will end November 6

For my card, I used this sweet image from Bugaboo,  called Candy Cane Bear.

To make this 6X6 card -
I used a colorblock die from Accu-cut and just used the frame part. Next, I attached that frame to a sheet of adhesive and added glitter to the separate blocks. I added the Candy Cane Bear to the center of the block and attached it to a matte silver panel.

I then embossed the corners of the silver panel and then attached the panel sheet to the card front. Next, I made poinsettias using Spellbinders dies, glitter those up and attached to the card front. I then added the greenery and my die cut sentiment.

This was a cute card to make and can't wait to give it.
I have the perfect person in mind already.

Well, that's it for today.

I will be back Wednesday with a post for my 1st of the month post.
Hope to see you then

Merry Christmas

Welcome back, everyone.
Today is the start of the new challenge #68 over at Lil Patch of Crafty Friends

There are two sponsors for this challenge and I am using Christmas Wreath from Lemon Shortbread

Please go to Lil Patch of Crafty Friends blog to check out the other designer's projects using
Kitty Bee Designs, our other sponsor.

With the holiday season fast approaching
I decided on using this cute mouse sitting in a Christmas wreath.

I colored this sweet image with colored pencils and used Gamsol to blend the colors out on the wreath. The ribbon/bow and the bells were colored with Spectrum Noir Sparkles. I added gold twine to the wreath and then added some outline sticker dots on the wreath. Also, I mounted that cute image over an oval mirror cardstock piece. On the panel, under the oval, I stamped tall pine trees from Stampscapes and then added a Tim Holtz die cut pine tree just to add additional interest.

The sentiment is another Tim Holtz die. I used a silver card stock paper and after I glued that on I didn't care for the look so I added that same sentiment die cut in gold cardstock and attached it off center to give it a contrast. I love the way it turned out. Sorry, it's not showing up well in this pic.

Hopefully, this card has inspired you a little.
Just remember we are a little over 9 weeks out til Christmas is here.

I am submitting my project in the following challenges:

Thanks for stopping in today. I will be back soon

Happy Day

Hello Everyone and thanks for stopping in today

Well, here is the card I would like to share with you today.
Since it is the 1st Tuesday of the month
it is my turn to post an inspiration piece.

This card has taken me a while to finish.
I had it finished, or so I thought but I felt it was missing something,
so it sat... and waited.... til I could find the piece that would finish it.

I recently purchased a wheat die from a garage sale and that was the finishing piece I needed. Unfortunately, I have no clue as to who makes this die. All I know is I love it and got a super bargain

There is holographic paper under the wheat and I cut it in a banner shape. Flowers and a scroll embellish the left side. The pink piece is scored and folded to achieve that look and under that is an embossed card front base.
I added the bow to the top right and now the card is done and ready to gift.

That ribbon I used is a sheer with white stars embossed on it.
Sheer ribbon is my favorite because it is easy to work with
and since it's so thin you can make a multi-loop bow without a problem.

Here is an up-close view.

Welcome To The Pumpkin Patch

Welcome Back, Everyone!!

Today is October 1 and the temperatures in my area have finally cooled down - Yea!!!
Fall is here and Halloween will be here in no time flat!!!

Since it's the first of October, that means it's time for the beginning of the October challenge over at Craft-Dee BowZ. The theme is always Anything Goes with a Handmade Bow.

This month's sponsor at Craft-Dee BowZ is
Bugaboo

First Place winner
will receive 4 digi's

So get your creative juices flowing and submit a project (don't forget the bow)

Let me share my project with you.

I've made a 6"X6" card and
I started out with a brownish panel on a black card
Next,  I cut a  pumpkin using an Accucut die. (Pumpkin #5)
(This die is a thicker die and it works in my Big Shot Pro)
This pumpkin die has a leaf and a face that can be used as well.

I cut the pumpkin out of white CS and colored it using my Distress Oxides. I love that new ink.

Next, I printed out my digital image and colored it.
I then added some grass and the sentiment

Here is a closer view of the digi image, Fall Pumpkin Trio.

It's oh so cute.

The last item I added was the bow.
Here is a closer look at it.

The bow I used was made with my trusty bow maker. I use it all the time.
